I received this as a Christmas present from my grandmother and I put it on my old 328is. Before I sold the 328is I took it off and I was going to put it on the m3. This is a "snap-on" knob which, bavauto says is from 1982 on of every bmw model. i would suggest checking bavauto for fitment other than e36 and e46 manuals. i think im done :laugh ...later
